Any good jRPG template/engine?
Do you know any for CF?

Some would say just use RPG Maker. Yeah, but what I have in mind for my game would be pretty hard to pull off in RM (some arcade elements, bit of platforming, etc.), not to mention CF gives more freedom in terms of mapping (you can make forest that actually looks like a forest without complicating tileset, yay!) and general feel of the game (movement in any direction, espeically if you add support for analog joysticks and movement not constrained by grid).

CF in my opinion is better engine overall.
I would say make your own its not that hard.

carrying values over and making a bank is a lot easier than in RPG Maker( I used to use RPG Maker and it took forever to make things)
Personally i feel CF is a lot easier.

The problem is I have no experience making turn-based things in general.

Snail on deleted the tutorials? That sucks..
I sense a conspiracy here.. regarding tutorials.. free vs paid.
The first time I have something negative to say about this team..

If your conspiracy is true all Clickteam tutorials on youtube must've been gone by now :P You see almightyzentaco still uploading new videos until now.

Well, I guess either the conspiracy is real or Snail is pissed off at CT for some reason..
Judging from his Youtube page it could be the latter..
Either way it sucks! He had some good stuff there..

Maybe HE wanted to sell tutorials and just was projecting.

Anyway, seen some of his stuff on some shady streaming service and it isn't as great as almightyzentaco's stuff is, particularly in the "code cleanliness" department (he seem to be using way too many lines and actions when way more would do the job just as well.)

Yeah his stuff seems good.. Just subbed to him today.
anyway, the "Use godot" video and the comment "If you are wish to use Clickteam anyway, use CF2.5 to step up to real programming" on Snails youtube, says he is salty..
Not that it is any of my business.. just think it is a shame that he took the videos down. I found them helpful.
