GameSpy multiplayer service that hosted online servers is shut down. To play your C&C game online you can setup C&C: Online [cnc-online.net]. This platform host servers with active chat & buddy system and has ranking, statistics.

In order to play you need to:

1. Create an account on: http://revora.net
2. Download the C&C: Online launcher from: http://cnc-online.net/download/
3. Install the launcher and hook your C&C game. Close the launcher and run the game again as you normaly would trough Steam.
4. Log in to multiplayer using revora and cnc-online log in information.

Alternatively you can use GameRanger [www.gameranger.com] to play LAN games with other people using the platform.

... i installed the launcher and hooked the game... and now it just crashes when i try to start the game (C&C kanes rath steam and it worked fine before)

well i made my account and now it starts the game and the game runs fine; but even when i use the launcher it still gives me 'could not connent to the backend server' ;_;

IT JUST WORKED :D (i downloaded launcher then hooked it then unhooked it then made an account on the fourms then it still gave me the backend server problem then i hooked it again and now it works fine :D

is there any merit to the steam and the origin ultimate collection versions not talking to each other using CNC:Online. I have the UC and my friend has the steam version and our connection symbol is a weird grey circle with what looks like a no right turn symbol

yeah we've tried all that... i can connect to my other friend in the US and play for hours... but when the guy who lives an hour away and I try... no luck
