nope, the only reason i know is because i played this morning and it wasn't there then i installed the patched bout 20 mins ago, launched and world builder was there but it was only something like 20mb so not much in it, tiberium wars got the same thing.

stealth patch removing hyperlinks and redistributables, and finally adding world builder to the Steam version. I remember the old days of searching through the intoxicating green glow trying to find the latest version of the map maker, and chanting prayers that it wouldn't contain a viceroid when downloading on my pc.

good think it wasnt to remove the online component of the game. im very paranoid after dungeon siege 2 and dawn of war received that treatment many years after release

It's already gone. EA shut down the online play servers for C&C 3 and C&C 3 Kane's Wrath a long time ago.

i dont mean the official servers. but the option to play online itself.

i dont mean the official servers but the option to pick multiplayer altogether. people are playing online through other means to this day. and in the case of dawn of war they updated the game to completely remove the LAN option while dungeon siege 2 had the "multiplayer" button permanently grayed out
