Subfactions in Global Conquest?

So, how do you pick the subfactions in Global Conquest?

Suppose I want to play a real time battle using the Marked of Kane units, upgrades and abilities...how can I do that?

You cannot pick subfactions in Global Conquest. Instead you can create subfaction regiments. So when you're playing NOD, you're playing all subfactions at once. You 'select' them by creating regiments consisting of their available units.

So, suppose I want to train the Awakened from my barracks, how do I do that, pick a regiment with Awakened in it?
