games like this with global domination / risk-like mode?

Hi,

Anyone know any other rts or tbs games that feature a global domination like mode? I mean not the 4x games like, but more action orientated and being able to choose your strike/attack teams. I know Rise of Nations has one, but that one while very feature-rich is a bit slow for me. Also tried the dawn of war one, which was pretty good.

oh yeah another one is star wars empire at war, which is an rts, its on sale atm

, I have that one, I did not like the skirmish mode in it but perhaps I like the global domination / risk-like mode. tnx

Rise of nations/Rise of legends, Dawn of war dark crusade/soulstorm, possibly the total war games (have not played them myself) and Divinity dragon commander, Starwars empire at war. I know i am forgetting a couple but dawn of war and rise of nations are my go-to.

, ty, yeah I like the dawn of war one. Maybe I should try the rise of nations one again, though at the time I found it went to slow but I did like the amount of stuff it had in it.
