Whoever programmed the skirmish AI needed to be fired

Easy is basically a joke after you got into the game. Next logical step is to increase the AI difficulty a bit and play on Medium. But one problem; Normal is way too hard, and it's not even the highest difficulty (there's hard and brutal). WTF?!

Since there's no way to disable super weapons and epic units (MARV, Eradicator Hexapod & Redeemer), the "normal" AI just turns me into a plant fertilizer.

I agree, Microprose game Devs had 5 difficulty levels in some of their games....why after 1990-ish did game development go south?

Moreover there is no any note about "Rusher", "Steamroller", "Guerilla" AI Personality.
There no option to turn off Brutal cheat mode.

If you can't beat the normal AI, I think the issue is you...

As for AI personalities, just play versus each one of them and you'll notice the difference.

Although "difficulty" is subjective, there is a learning curve involved. Easy is for PSC (point/scroll/click) players, as the difficulty increases your play style must change to hot keys, way-points etc. For casual gamers this is a bit much, they basically want a PSC difficulty increase. I would assume the difficulty levels are there to help improve your multiplayer skills, I accept I could be wrong, as speculation does not trump fact :)

I notice one stupid thing that the AI do is that it won't help you even you're about to be defeated. The only thing this AI good at is at 1v1 matches, but playing as a team it's really suck.

Medium difficulty is quite simple to beat if you have basic knowledge lol. I suck at RTS and I can beat med quite easily.
