What's the hell is wrong with the keys?

I'm getting so close to giving this game a very very bad review.

First is the stupid AI spawn points that place the AI right in front or right behind you in an instance. I get killed by AI that come from nowhere.

Then some buggy death at LZ.

Then, when I work so hard to complete some missions, they require keys that none of the AI has even though I cleared the damn place like 3 times.

What the hell is wrong with you, developers? Why is it so hard for you to give me the damn keys?????

Which key? Not all keys are carried by AI. Some are found on tables, desks, shelves etc nearby. For example, the Infirmary key is on a desk in a nearby room. Turncoat's house key is in a random spot in his back yard, etc.

That one rarely appears on NPCs but the last time I was clearing the sawmill out I ended up finding 2 of them. But yeah as the other guy said, some keys spawn on desks in the area but I agree they need to fix some of the spawn rates for the keys. Right now the best thing I can recommend is try to keep a collection of keys or at least the rare keys. I'm keeping that OS storage key in inventory at base and keeping it in my box if I leave the base with it.

They really need to fix that. I understand they want to extend the play time but this causes more frustration to the players which is not a good thing. I am so close to releasing my anger into the review right now

But, like an idiot, I accidentally sold it when I was selling all my duplicate Office and Storage keys. :(

It's not humor. I'm being honest. The key can be found in one of those rooms, for sure., It's rare as hell.

In my stupidity I sold it because I mistook if for the many duplicates I was getting rid of.

I know the pain of trying to find it again. I'm merely saying, don't just search Ai for those keys. Look all around the area for it.

Thanks for the info. I really hope the game will stop wasting my time with some useful updates soon. I don't have a lot of time to play this game

Its a milsim… its supposed to be anoying… I to have cleared the same area 3-4 times without finding the right key… that part of the game…
If you don’t really have the time, maybe this game is not for you..?

The keys do spawn at certain places. The SM OStrg has a video from MEATfarmer in the official discord[discord.com]
I actually found mine with the SM boss when I had the task accepted.

The TB CemStr (Cement factory storage) spawns in a random spot at one of the offices just west of the locked door.

The only task key that I had trouble finding was the MS Supply for the Paparazzi task because the spawn places had the key already looted as lots of players went to the MS hotel for looting and got it before me.

If you are losing patience with keys and cannot spend time exploring, use the GZW TacMap[gzwtacmap.online] or tcno[maps.tcno.co]

There is a an interactive map that was created(posted above), and it has all the places keys can spawn on it. I'm pretty sure that key is one that spawn in the world.

Last patch my game stopped all progress trying to get the key for blue lagoon base to drop. It took 14 days of me clearing blue lagoon 3-5 times a day. Its not nearly as bad as it was. I wouldn't mind seeing quest keys being offered by traders down the line, or paying like $1000 for a 4 slot breaching charge.

I still think breaching charges need to cost at least ten grand if they get added. If I can bypass a loot room lock with a $1000 dollar item where I can sell the contents for 10-15k easily, it's going to be abused.
