Anyway looking forward to weather and other changes for PVE at any rate.
Some interesting facts, I'd like to point out:
Current PVE vs PVP population:
Research suggests PVE players may outnumber PVP players, possibly 60-70% to 30-40%, based on community feedback, though exact figures are unavailable.
Why players bought this game:
Most players likely bought Gray Zone Warfare for its realistic military simulation, similar to games like Escape from Tarkov, and its PVE mode, which offers a cooperative experience without the intensity of PVP. The open-world extraction shooter aspect and the ability to play with friends also seem to be significant draws, based on reviews and community feedback.
Is the PVP switch a good strategy:
The recent shift to focus more on PVP, as outlined in the game's roadmap with updates like Dynamic War, aims to make player-versus-player encounters more frequent and meaningful. While this could attract PVP enthusiasts, it might risk alienating PVE players who prefer a peaceful experience. The developers are maintaining a PVE mode, suggesting a balanced approach, but the strategy's success hinges on how well they cater to both audiences. An unexpected detail is the introduction of dynamic PVP zones and Combat Outposts, which could enhance engagement but may challenge the game's original PVE appeal.

Please dev, just don't forget about the PVE playerbase. That's all.
This. Next update is a non-interest for me. I bought the game for PvE. Switching to a PvP focus just isn't something I care about. I'll pick the game back up with update 0.4's Dark Revelations
Official statement from devs:
"While Winds of War introduces new PvP features, PvE remains a key focus in Gray Zone Warfare."
Unlike the cry babys above that want to sit this one out who cant seem to realise they have a WHOLE MODE FOR PVE!!! it works just fine as it is and wont be changed at all by the introduction of more PVP!!!
***PSA to the PVE smooth brains we dont want a PVP game we just want more PVP we love the PVE factor but it would just be awesome if was more pushing squads together in the PVP mode! because lets face it the AI is either about as intelligent as the comments above or god like wall banging you from across the other side of the town.. nothing compares to playing against people!***
Yet, if it wasn't for the cry babies, I mean statistically, 60-70% of the loyal players out there (with some double your game play time), out of which most gave positive reviews, the game would have lost investment... which means that there's a high probability that you'd be making this comment on an empty discussion and people like me who just want to uncontrollable weep all day, never would've seen it. Eh bro?
The PVE will be effected but who knows how much. I don't mind PVP now that I have a better machine but it wasn't that great when I got low frames and there are many in the same camp.
That said, I much more enjoy PVE, though it can become redundant, as can PVP since even real people can become predictable a lot of times. Fresh content and random objectives would go a long way to avoiding that.
After playing through once before the 1st wipe, and twice more since , I'm a little worried its going to be stale playing after another if all they do is change some item locations etc. I like exploring the map, needs to more reward and threats in doing so IMO.
Daytime looking through scope I imagine they will make these arm bands pretty visible.
but what about nighttime, when using Nods?
Will there be a strobe of some kind so we know we arent firing on friendlies? Only visible through nods? Something to that nature? Any thoughts?
