Quick guide to Medical supplies use/damage taken types during combat
Just wanted to put this information out since the medical system can be a tiny bit confusing.

Meds-

Painkillers-Allows you to not make noise while hurting
Splints-Fixes broken bones
Bandages-Stops bleeding
Survkits-Become your very own doctor and stitch up those super bad injuries
Bloodbags-Gives you back some blood.

Damage taken types-

Bruises-Even though a bullet doesn't penetrate it can still hurt like hell because of armor deformation. Bruises can be small or severe. These go away over time on their own. You do not have to med these at all. You can take pain pills to shut your guy up though.

Bleeding- Bandages and civilian gauze stop bleeds. Bandages are better at it than gauze.

Broken bone- Put a splint on it and walk it off

Organ damage- This includes kidney and lungs and such. You will have to Survkit these back to health.

Low blood-Once blood hits 50% your will pass out and have to be stabilized and blood bagged by another person to get back up. You can use a blood bag on yourself to bring blood back up or you can let blood recover on its own once you have fully healed properly.

Concussion-Oh, did you just get shot in the head and lived? Oh, did you think you should be able to not feel anything? Welcome to real life soldier. Use a pain med and move on with your day.

Pressing H just brings up your available Med supplies. You can then use the mouse scroll wheel to choose which one you want to use. Its just a quick way to get to meds instead of having to go into your inventory to use them. Thanks for bring it up though.
Pretty sure there is a quick use option in your keybinds. Not sure what it is by default. IT requires your meds to be in a storage with the lightning bolt though. Plenty of times I've hit my key and started bandaging without scrolling through the list.

Screenshotted and shared with friends. Nice one. +1

What about the stuff like dazed, nausea, coughing, sore arms, fainting and so on? The less common injuries without obvious meds for it

Yes the button is H. Again, its just so you can access the meds you have fast. It doesn't auto pick anything. I keep my meds in my butt in my QRKITS so i have to manually pick my stuff lol.

Also, light bleeding doesn't even require a bandage, it will stop after a short while. The issue is if you keep having light bleeding while your blood levels are already low. Otherwise, find cover and keep fighting!

You only have dazed, nausea, coughing, sore arms from injuries that are in the list. Once you fix those injuries those statuses will go away.

Sometimes these things need more time to go away on their own. Like bruises, or a concussion. They will simply be there for a duration after fixing or just from being hit.

Nausea, you just wait. Dizziness can be caused by blood loss or dehydration. Coma/Fainting is due to blood loss.

Sore arms, stop meleeing or aiming down sights for a while.

Coughing is usually a surgery issue in the lungs but also taking a hit to the chest can cause it.

Its still better to fix all bleeds as fast as you can since losing blood will eventually kill you. Especially since you can STACK bleeds on your body which will cause your blood to drain super fast.

Obviously you want to evaluate, but quickly open health screen 'U' and check the rate of loss along with current levels and judge based off of that. But it's unlikely you will bleed out from light bleeding unless you've already lost a lot of blood. Haven't timed it exactly but seems like the light bleeding stops in 30-60 seconds

You can also get sore arms from ADS for too long or climbing too much, but they will quickly fade away.
