It may only be correlated - and not so much a cause.
I've send numeral crash reports - sometimes with description, sometimes there was nothing to describe.
Wait and see :-)
different CPUs and different GPUs have different thresholds, I would never claim 105c is fine on most cards and even if the GPU is supposed to be able to handle that temp it would be better to have more headroom.
but as others have said 70c is perfectly fine.
as for the other person saying overlays are crashing the game, that sounds like an issue you are having but I am not.
I can have NVIDIA overlay, MSI afterburner overlay running same time and not crash (I still have had 0 CTD after 60+ hrs)
riva stats can definitely cause frame drops and hiccups though.
Little toxic kids at work.
You didn't specify how hot your CPU is running at which could be the bigger problem, GPU at 70 shouldn't be problematic.
Although I've noticed in the last 2 weeks I was playing, more straight to desktop crashes occurred than in 240 hrs before combined. Each time buying new stuff is frustrating as hell.
