Ban Pa Is Trash!
Getting shot by ai doing matrix moves behind bushes sucks. Never mind they don't spawn in until you're twenty meters away. No point in having a rifle with an optic or bothering to recon. It's bush monkey roulette with one shot aim bots. Needs work. A lot of work.

They can see you from far with high accuracy but if you going in with a plan you can clear it. I've cleared it more than once solo (also are you wearing good armor for when you do get shot). Instead of taking them out from afar I'll sneak until I get close enough to have hard cover (bushes is just concealment). Then engage when I know I have good cover and can also loose their line of sight. Don't engage AI from afar across a field with no cover except bushes.

You would be surprised how good you can stealth around before the AI notices you. If they see you and you just jump behind bushes they will continue to light up those bushes. If they see you and you loose sight behind bushes and keep moving somewhere else in like a L pattern they will not know where you went.

Just don't press shift, the AI for whatever reason have super human hearing when it comes to you running. Once you loose line of sight walk, don't run. In fact never run unless you actually have to

Yeah, I'm level 26. I've been to all of the objectives. Ban Pa is not fun. It's a bunch of bushes shooting at you. It doesn't matter if you "have a plan.." Once you kill one of them half the village starts coming to kill you. Usually from behind bushes doing the aim bot matrix dance. It's not fun. It's not "realistic." It's not what makes a game enjoyable. Spawning ai in blind spots at 10 meters eliminates any real tactical planning.

wait until you see tiger bay <3

Ban Pa and Narith are still not that hard. You should visit Tiger Bay. Aye Aye Captain, I was like 50meters from the quest spot. Ai group up like 5 to 6 and another group like 20-30mtrs away.
I tried naked and sneaked in but it was impossible, especially near the river bank. All my 7 attempts, I managed to zig zag the enemies until 100mtrs or so from the quest site, they are everywhere.

The biggest problem for me seems to be silencers not working. If I shoot one, the entire camp/zone comes after me because they magically know where I'm at. I do appreciate the help though and will try to use cover more. The other part that sucks is that some of the AI don't make any sound so sometimes they flank and kill me from behind. Any tips for that or just get good?

Sounds like your approach needs work, not the game. I solo into Ban Pa myself and never had a problem.

Get better.

ban pa literally one of the easiest location. this isnt call of duty, you cant just sprint everywhere like a super hero. its a slow paced tactical shooter. git gud

The best tip for Ban Pa (or any area) is to get inside or around structures. You're a sitting duck out in the open but once you get within the village to break line of sight makes things much easier. You're a sitting duck if you engage from outside the village.

For me silencers are hit in miss, sometimes I can pop guys off one shot and others not hear me and sometimes they do. I feel like it's not them hearing your silencer but they have BORG mentality. As in if you shoot one with a silencer and don't one shot kill him he insta radios everybody that your their (but I do notice when others are alerted they might not be alerted to your exact location).

About getting flanked, like I said try not to engage until you have hard cover, AKA buildings. Move through them and engage out of windows and doors. Ya though even wearing headsets and volume way up they can be hard to hear but I sometimes hear them (although play with my own headset set up to like 95% volume. Lol loud enough to if an AI I don't see shoots at me it's like a jump scare.

Not getting flanked I wouldn't call a "git gud" situation, but just try to be aware of your surroundings and don't get tunnel vision when engaging. Which is much easier said than done. Also are yall wearing good armor? I'm finding most people in game I come across don't realize lvl 3 armor is better than 3A. Lvl 3A armor does nothing to stop rifle rounds while lvl 3 does

i just went and solo'd it first try, alot of enemies. just take it slow.
Pindie May 18, 2024 @ 4:51pm
A lot of areas are not designed well. They are designed to make solo play hard.
