obviously can't reply cuz you're banned, but in all reality ALL weapons that are added into ANY game should be viable. not just the gun that obviously gets the most favor from every video game developer ever, along with using the most expensive ammo. 5.45 AK should be just as viable as M4 with less accuracy (due to MOA ratings), and 7.62 AK should be dropping without hesitation at the cost of recoil. Pistols and shotguns are useless; the VZ machine gun is an even bigger joke than US 7.62 ammo (prior to it's removal). Mosin is hella inconsistent: I've shoulder-tapped a 1 hit KO but with the same ammo pecked someone's brain 5 times and they still live to blast me. M700 is a joke, I don't think I have successfully managed to kill a single AI with one before facing the wrath of the AI gods.
This is a genuine question to the developers: why exactly is it that the only REALLY viable weapon IS the AR platform (M4/CQ - A1 / MK18)? All others are just all around extremely lackluster or, at best, mediocre but wildly inconsistent?
Because the game is in pre alpha, is 20% done, and they probably only worked on a couple guns to get the core game functional.
People, this ♥♥♥♥ isn't hard to figure out.
But perhaps this is just a different interpretation of the terminology.
Additionally, for those still reading who were complaining about the armor... Level IIIA is really only rated for pistol rounds. Level III is rated for some rifle rounds, and III+ slightly better. But it is still worth noting that ammo type is a big factor in this game, and stuff will still whiz right through armor in the right circumstance. If all you have is a bruise, your armor likely just saved your life. If the enemy has M855 or other such rounds with better penetration, that Level III armor isn't going to be doing a whole lot.
Huh? What was the point of this comment exactly?
Your comment was cringe, add to the conversation or do not. No one here signed up to your English classes.
An example of how humanity is completely lost
I put about 20 rounds from an SR-25 into a boss in Tarkov. Some random fat guy with no armor. He didn't die. He has a lot of health because he is fat, that's the logic. I hid behind something and he wallbanged me through 2 walls.
The AI is working as intended. The devs worked very hard to emulate the Tarkov experience. Down to the p2w, trash netcode and cheaters (both bots and players).
