AFK kick timer and losing gear is a bad idea.

Me and two friends were playing a couple days ago.

One of my firends had to step away so he stayed in the food stall at the Foxtrot 2 LZ while I ran my other friend through the area to get his revolver and storage room tasks done. The whole time, we were talking to him through Discord as he has a bluetooth headset. We returned to the LZ and called the bird in and let him know it was on the way. While we're standing there, we hear a groan behind us, and see that our friend is dead. When he got back to his PC seconds after dieing, it said he'd been kicked for being AFK for too long. He immediately rejoined, flew out to our position and could not loot his body.

If you're going to kick someone for being AFK, do not make them lose all their gear.

Whatever that's lame. It's essentially asking them to not kick people not participating in game AND unable to take their breaks during the actual gameplay portion. It's like asking for an invincibility mode in competitive counter strike matches if someone has to step away. It's a match and lasts an hour. Commit to it or quit and suffer the consequences. And yeah losing gear should be part of that. It's wasting everyone's time. And it encourages boosters to do the missions for them like you essentially are doing in your example. It's bad every which angle.

What he actually said was if youre going to kick them, at least let them pick up their body if it didnt despawn, he didnt say not to kick them.

Yeah, had that too yesterday, i went out in reallife for maybe 20-30 minutes and just waited on LZ in the bush.
To wait for the Helicopter it took too long to wait, i think it was about 5 minutes i had to wait and i had not the time in RL to wait till the Helo comes.

Edit:So the game kicked me and i lost all my gear.
If you kick, let the gear on the soldier.

Isn´t it disgusting, waiting in this game is about 70 - 80% while you have action for the rest %.
You want to do a Mission, killing gang leader, but you have to wait, i don´t know how long until opponents will respawn again, so you have to wait several minutes and than you will be kicked because of inactivity.
And flying to loot your dead body is not funny, because you have to wait again till helo comes and take a long journey to your dead body.
And maybe it is like that, if you kill people around the gang leader, some other Squad maybe joining the territory and kill the leader before u can do, so u have to do all over again.

Devs, perhabs it is possible, to build your own small base-camp near LZ, a tent would be nice, where you have some stuff and you can respawn after dying but only for the session, that will help a lot time loss for heading from the very base camp to your dead body.

If that is not possible, maybe we can go out the bas camp and search for a chopper or car, to drive to your last location (dead body) or to LZ only with car, so u don´t have to wait, waiting in this game kills everything.

This is the same problem as crashing/losing connection. Even if you manage to get back on the same server you cannot loot your own corpse.

Really no reason for it to be this way, the corpse is still there, the player ID is the same, let us loot our bodies, virtually no risk of abuse.

If a Network error occurs, while you are on mission, you will not loose your gear, but if you head out to your dead body to loot it and you loose connection everything is gone. so let us loot our bodies, it´s hard spending all the time getting your equipment, and perhabs we can make presets to buy your stuff wich you had on the last mission, so you don´t have to drag and drop every little thing again and again.
