Anyone having trouble wipeing their character after patch?

You have to wait a week between wipes.

Yep. Thank those abusing the wipe function by passing out DLC gear to friends and then wiping. Also would wipe after finishing the first town and earning an easy 75-100k and passing it to friends.

They could solve the problem by assigning gear to an account like other games (Star Trek Online for example),. I get that there will always be people who abuse the situation, and I have no qualms about waiting a length of time - but for people who either dont cheat or dont have friends to palm the good off too a week is too long

A good idea, but the items you get, you can still buy so can't imagine they'd be able to do that reliably ya know.

Duping is still a thing, so don't even know why people were wiping to hook up their friends lol

Cuz not everyone was duping or could get it to work. Also, duping could, technically,lead to punishment since it's abusing an exploit. Wiping isn't really an exploit. It's a feature that can easily be combated against by increasing the time between wipes. Duping is a lag issue that can be harder to fix.

Cuz not everyone was duping or could get it to work.

There are 4 minute videos showing how to dupe everything, so easy a cave man could do it. Sounds like a skill issue. Unlimited money exploit isn't even 2 minutes. Ammo dupe isn't even 1 minute. Seems weird to just wipe to do something that takes less than a few minutes to learn. If you're going to exploit the game at least be smart about it lol
