You just ruined my day! Lol
I was thinking of trying this if I die, but, New solution : do not die 😆
I doubt it. By the time it's fixed, your gear will have been replaced and you won't have room for it. I've lost a dozen sets of gear to this bug or other bugs in general. I'd rather not be inundated with that much junk in my inventory/mailbox.
If we aren't able to loot our own bodies after death, at least make the economy here better. Vendors are selling weapons and parts way more expensive than the resale price... (That's daylight robbery)... Can't even breakeven looting weapons from bodies and reselling those...
Until this is fixed, don't build a kit. Just grab weapons off of enemies and use those. An AK or SKS works fine with a Spectre. Running out with a looted weapon, you're not spending any cash and every weapon you bring back sells for at least 110 dollars. Grab those Type 51s or strip the optics off of rifles, if you don't have the space for them. Those only take a 1x1 or 1x2 slot and are usually comprise the majority of a weapon's resale value.
now don't die
