Noise-o-matic won't interfere with any other windows, in fact, it has no knowledge of what other applications are running in the background, as we directly interface at a low level with the windows audio system.
Make sure that there are no hotkeys bound to the game you're playing, or other third party software that may be interfering.
What game are you having issues with, if we may ask? We'll be happy to double check if that game has some kind of incompatibility, though it's probably very unlikely! thank you!
