Are new updates planned for this game?
The game has a few issues here and there, but I don't know if Aspyr is planning to give the game more patches or new features to improve things further.

Anyone know if they're planning anything more for the remasters?

i guess there will be some kind of patch in the future but what to expect ?!

who knows but insiders.
I very much doubt they'll be remastering this any further or adding content. This is merely a graphical enhancement done by a small studio and other than the textures and some particles being tweaked it runs just like the old games. Same grid system so the controls are wonky plus the camera tends to glitch out fairly often. It's pretty much the original games with slightly better textures and the ability to save wherever you want vs having to use a checkpoint system.

I'm sure they'll patch should any technical difficulties arise but given the studio is owned by Embracer group don't expect big things.

These remasters exist because of Embrace Group

I'm waiting to repurchase after they fix the Keyboard issues ("E" Action key does not function). Returned the first purchase since I couldn't navigate.

They really need to fix the godawful camera in "modern controls" setting. The moveset relies heavily on the camera angle and Lara can't be controlled properly with the camera freaking out in tight spaces. It even gets inverted at times which is close to unacceptable

Adding a custom launcher/interpreter for running custom maps would be nice. There are THOUSANDS of custom Tomb Raider levels that have been made using the TREditor. Having an official way of launching and playing them with the updated control scheme would be nice.

Mostly I'm just hoping they add some kind of level select feature post-launch so I don't have to play through the entire games just to get to my favourite levels.

Also, an outfit selector would be nice.

You can always skip with the good old level skip tricks. You probably can make a AHK script to save you the button presses.

It would get annoying and repetitive to have to repeatedly skip levels just to get to the ones I want to play.

Hmm Just save every level? I save Venice at #1 save slot, then wen the next level starts I save on second slot and so on... I think when you finish the game you can select any leve like the og games.
