Nexus did it again

Nexus Mods has been under the control of extremely bigoted hypocrites for a long time now.

Frankly the sooner that site is boycotted into oblivion and replaced the better, it's a dark, stain on the modding community and so long as it has no competition they will abuse it's power like all tyrannical people do when said power goes to their heads and they start thinking they're better and more important than everyone else..

It's a very short leap from that to thinking they have a "right" to force their views and opinions on everyone else.. and an even smaller one to go from that to actively attacking those who disagree with and criticise them for it.

Suffice to say those kinds of people, people who think and act that way are never the good guys.

I doubt it’s gonna get boycotted into oblivion it’s still very popular site…. People consume all it has to offer…

Also I think ModDB has removed offensive mods too.

In the movie yes not in games… she doesn’t have skull belt buckle in the games… as far as I know….not as if the low res graphics allow for belt buckle details back then…

That isn't what the disclaimer said at all. And again, even if the disclaimer outright said 'You should not be (insert what religion I literally am) and should not be (insert what political party I am a part of), because that makes you a bad person because of (insert what ever reasons). I would not given a flying rats butt about it because those are just words from someone's opinion. I would just give a brief "haha" at it, and then continue to playing the game. Why? because I am not an easily offended snow flake over words that are harmless.

It’s not her belt buckle from the games she didn’t have a skull on any belt buckles in the games… they didn’t use any belt buckle designs from the games in any of the movies. The wardrobe in the movies were completely original not seen in any of the games.

They probably did use it initially because they thought it looked cool…

The point here there was it created a controversy at the time, the left and anti-holocaust organizations called them out on it… they probably changed it to avoid any further controversy from the left….

Probably same reason we have a disclaimer now too trying to avoid controversies from the left….

It shouldn't, but it is there, because at least someone believed otherwise.

Downloading a mod to pretend it doesn't exist won't change the fact that it exist, just like cutting racist dialogues from a movie won't change the fact that those dialogues existed. Whoever thinks that this mod would give them a victory or a badge in their anti-woke crusade is delusional, the only thing anyone will accomplish by using a mod like that is just wasting more time on something that can be skipped with one key/button press once, and never shows up again.

The minority who are so triggered and offended by a disclaimer is no better than the minority who are triggered and offended by the so-called racist depictions in these and other games.
