Things that need to be addressed in future patches
I have both played and watched others play the TR1-3 remastered, and I thought I would make a list of things which I believe should be addressed in future patches:

[Controls]
- Camera tracking and movement precision on modern controls need a lot of work, it is very hard to do precise jumps or movement in the current state.
- Backwards jumping and hopping on modern controls does not work unless the guns are drawn (and in certain levels you won't have those). This should be possible to execute via a button combination of sorts without drawing the guns, as it is critical for certain jumps.
- Moving while aiming in modern controls is unreliable. Aiming should have a lock-on effect so your movement is relative to the target. Perhaps the same combination that would fix the problem above should be used here but with the weapons drawn.
- Directional movement on modern controls should be done relative to the camera during fixed camera angles.
- It should be possible to map flare to a button on controller just as with keyboard, there's room for one more button mapping (R3 is free on my setup). You could then map the Rocket Launcher to the Inventory+RB combo, so all weapons get covered.
- Quicksave and Quickload should have button combos for controllers (perhaps inv+R3/L3 or D-Pad) and be configurable for keyboard users.
- It should be possible to navigate the menus with configured movement/action keys.
- An option to invert vertical controls while looking would be much appreciated.

[Graphics]
- An option to set resolution and display mode(fullscreen/window/borderless) is needed.
- An option to set custom fps cap is needed, especially for classic graphics.
- An option to set Brightness would be much appreciated. Gamma and Contrast sliders would be a nice bonus.
- TR1 is missing the dark fog. It may have been a technical limitation at the time, but it gave the game a certain mystery vibe, it should be included as an option.
- There are some fps jitters particularly noticeable in the old graphics mode which should be fixed.
- Texture filtering and Dithering options for the original graphics would be really nice. It would make the original graphics relevant to play on for nostalgia.
- Photo mode could use a Depth of Field option, perhaps some color filters too.

[User Interface]
- The exclamation mark icon used for interactions looks a bit odd, a hand icon would be more appropriate.
- The in-game menu backgrounds are missing, right now it's just a black screen.
- Boss health bars option should also work on the old graphics.
- This one's a nitpick, but I think the size of the HUD elements could be reduced a little so you see more of the game. A HUD scaling option would be great in this regard.

[Visual Design]
- Some of the key items (e.g. the ones from Greece level) have poor contrast with the environment, making them hard to spot.
- Water currents (e.g. TR3 jungle) lack any animation. You cannot tell that water flows, let alone in what direction it will take you.
- Mud and Quicksand areas in TR3 have no animation to tell you that they aren't solid surfaces like the original, making it very easy to walk right into them for first timers.
- Atlantis area in TR1 feels like it's missing some lighting. It looks rather bland compared to the original.
- There's a bunch of functional lighting issues better shown in Nick930's video: https://youtu.be/Pq9vWs6MJ0s?t=1361
- The color filters are too strong in some levels and ruin the color contrast, especially in the jungle and colosseum levels. They should be toned down a bit.
- Lara's pistols and the desert eagle look a bit too small, almost like toy guns. Their model size should be increased a little. The automatic pistols and magnums look fine.
- Lara's shotgun in TR3 looks odd, it should resemble the SPAS-12 from the original rather than the model from previous titles.
- Lara's MP5 scope in TR3 is placed oddly high, it should be lowered a bit.
- Explosions from the Grenade and Rocket launchers look very weak, the FX should be more intense.
- In the remastered cutscenes from TR3 the characters still shake their heads, which looks very uncanny. The shakes should be removed.
- Multiple texture and animation bugs can be seen here:
1) St. Francis Folly: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kdHMa-nSfqk
2) Colosseum: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wh1uhjlkUt0
3) Sanctuary of the Scion: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zN9J0wY696U
4) Bartoli's Hideout: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DshMCq15hv4
5) Multiple Other: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjp6oWdnlxs

[Audio]
- The voiceovers in TR3 could use a boost, they are quite muffled compared to previous games. This is an old issue that the original TR3 also had.

[Gameplay]
- The High Security Compound level in TR3 still leaves you without most of your items by the end. It was a huge annoyance in the original game and it still is now even as you get some arbitrary amount of ammo when you recover the pistols. Please fix this so you keep all your hard earned ammo and consumables!
- The Blue Crystals should be something optional. You should be able to disable them if you want more immersion, use them as limited save points for more challenge or just have them as extra health pickups like in the original TR3 on PC.
- Either an autosave or a save reminder feature that pops up after a few minutes would be very useful for most.
- A level select option would also be very nice to have, though I realize it's tough to implement because of the non-linear structure of the TR3 campaign.
- It would also be nice if skipping levels with the cheat would give you the plot items for that level(e.g. TR3 artifacts) so you don't get stuck in the next ones.
- It should be possible to change outfits in the game once finished, perhaps some of the achievements or the blue crystals should play a role in unlocking them.
- The enemies on normal runs rarely feel like a threat(especially the melee ones), so there's little reason to go through your consumables. It should be possible to enable harder enemies similar to NG+ on normal runs, but without the added challenges.
- I know this one's too much to ask, but the labyrinthine structure of the Tomb Raider levels (especially TR3) would truly benefit from a map feature, which fills as you explore the level and marks the locks and key items as you go near them, in a similar fashion to Resident Evil 2 Remake(minus the loot tracking). It would make the games way more accessible to newcomers.

-Level select is a must, especially for the collectibles/achievements hunters - can't believe such a standard feature is not included
-Graphical options to tweak the experience - we are on PC for crying out loud
-More options in photo mode would be nice, such as depth of field, colour filters, etc.

I would like the ability to set multiple keybinds. I like to have two keys bound to roll and separate keys for side step left & right.

Problems I came across with a low likelihood of being changed:

-Tomb Raider (1 and) 2 uses the flare lighting and fire effects from Tomb Raider 3, it used to be very different across the games. TR2 flares and fire were yellow white and soft, TR3 flares were seizure inducing flickery and green, and the TR3 fire now used in all three games, the hideous orange fog, is by far the worst looking fire in the series they could've used.

-TR3 no longer has any visible effect or texture that shows a tile as being quicksand, or a river having a current. WHY?!

-Some backdrops in Tomb Raider 2 are incorrect. oil rig in the middle of the ocean now has a backdrop that shows it as being surrounded by trees and hills lmao and opera house backdrop now shows a forest instead of the city of venice backdrop it's supposed to have

-In Tomb Raider 2 using a controller the L2 button used to be a hotkey for flares. This can't be bound to flares anymore. (Also R2 used to be alternative button for sidesteps seperate from R1) The quicksettings (hold inventory press R1) works fine, albeit very clunky during gameplay while L2 and R2 go unused. why not hold L2 / R2 then press buttons as a quick menu?

-Using the TR1-2 shotgun and grenade launcher in TR3 instead of a proper HD model for the TR3 nade launcher and the spas was a bad call and looks lazy / rushed

-Using the TR3 green medkits in all three games looks lazy / rushed as well. Modder already fixed this within a day of release.

-I would also really appreciate being able to turn off the exclamation ! icons. edit: you can do this under the control settings. thanks for the heads up guys

The blue crystal from TR3 on OG PSX version is an actual save item which you use it in order to save the game, on PC it acts as a small medipack. Thus it's pointless to have it as a healing item since it's possible to beat the game without that healing crystal.

The camera is killing me. They have to fix that too

I wish I could send the devs my suggestion:

D-Pad => Moves Lara with Tank Controls.
Left Stick => Moves Lara with Modern Controls.

Also, can't they add a graphics menu? I wish I could set a FPS Limit for this game.

In my opinion they should allow you to perform a running jump without running a few meters.

Since the game is so easy to run, I'd like to see an SSAA option added. Or a few different options. Not sure what the game uses currently, and it's rather clean, but there are still jaggies here and there at 1440p.

This!! It would have been so logical, why didn't they implement this feature!

Protip: the game doesn’t tell you this, but in TR3 you can insta-flare by holding the inventory button and tapping walk. It was like this on the PS1 and my muscle memory kicked in. You can even throw the flare instead of dropping it with the same combo.

My issue is that it’s now impossible to crawl backwards off a ledge in TR3 using the ‘modern’ scheme.

I found that out the hard way - getting stuck in a hollow log with no overhead room to perform the forward flip back out.

Honestly, people who demanded modern controls really just need to suck it up. The original game’s controls were born of absolute necessity. There is no better way to play and the modern controls are only worsening this game’s reputation for being clunky.

Stick with tank. Seriously.

Crystals should be removed, they are breaking immersion and serve no purpose without saving. It always annoyed me in TR3 on PC, when in generally realistic and immersive game some nonse crystal floating mid air, like it some arcadish Crash Bandicoot or Spyro!

That's actually a pretty good point, removing the crystals will increase immersion.
