Nobody crunching them, mr genius, im asking to make test build THEY ALREADY HAVE AND ADDING LIKE EVERY DAY TO STEAM (according to SteamDB) - a public beta, plus im asking to split amount of fixes and release smaller amount of fixes per week-two than making big amount of fixes for month or more. Its basically same amount of work and time as they do now, but with results given to us more often in smaller chunks, so we should not sit and wait forever for at least some vital fixes!
Complaints based on the original games issues by new players that don’t understand that’s how the games used to function and hardbaked into the code…
Some of these old issues have been fixed, but not all to maintain authentic feel. Like the wall glitch needed to get the unreachable item….
Old players are more concerned about presentation and quality control of the new content they don’t like graphical glitches… there is enough of that on AAA games like
Cyberpunk… they expect more out of labors of love…
They've done such a good job with these remasters that it's a real shame they are not 100%. No patch yet is letting themselves down a bit. There are lots of wonky textures if you look closely, - things that are rotated 90° or 180° or inside out or in extreme cases not where they should be. Sometimes the animals don't react as they should. In the first wolf encounter below the bridges for instance, the wolves can be very slow to react.
But some people here love to defend these unfinished games to death. Guess having classic Lara lowers their standards.
Enough people return their games and it could hurt further patch development.
Not advertised as a complete AAA rerelease.
I hear in TR2 later half has lots of missing graphics in later half the game?
It works with classic tank controls.
It doesn't work with modern controls.
And the lighting in some areas is definitely too dark, to the point that it obscures important items, lever and switches.
Giving you the option to switch to the checkpoint system instead of manual saves would have been nice, too. Supposedly that's in the game, but only for NG+, which only unlocks after you finished the game.....why ?
There are definitely some no-brainers, easy fixes and low hanging fruits they could have implemented before releasing it, like:
- giving you access to flares in TR 1.
- increasing the burning duration or amount of flares.
- giving you access to the checkpoint system right from the start.
- increase the wall climbing speed of climbable surfaces, like ladders in TR 2.
- Making sure that the camera works while using modern controls.
- Letting you backstep, side and backflip in moderns controls, without drawing weapons, via pressing a button combination.
- making sure that every texture, which simulates a 3D surface has bump or displacement mapping on it....... and is properly scaled.
Them patching some of those aspects is nice.
The issue with post release patches is always, that they usually come after you have already played through game.
Wow, well if you want it then they have to do it. Stop being immature and act whatever age you are. You must be a very spoilt brat to get everything you want. An update will not be released so early after the game release. If the game is not working perfectly on your PC then perhaps you should look at your specs and upgrade. It's working perfectly on mine.
