how to restore terrain

I deleted a city and now have no terrain features. How do you restore the original terrain features of the deleted square?

If it's a built-in region, you'll be able to restore it from the Regions folder in the game's install directory, just find which city it is you want to replace (Generally the numbers increase as you move across from left to right across the region, then down) and copy and paste it into the applicable Region folder in My Documents.
If it's not a built-in region, It's gone. Forever.
