Deleting a city

I tried to delete a damaged city. I thought that the region itself stays the same and i just can start from the beginning, but the region was just plain, all the water was missing after deleting it. How can i reset a region to what it was before creating the city ? Even after loading the whole region the part was still damaged.

if its a region that came with the game then there are fresh copies of each region in the program files folder. if not you will have to download the region you used again and import the same city tile. i could be wrong maybe someone with a bit more experiance will let us know :)

i done the same as you, i tried to delete a city and it left me a blank city tile no water or hills. i just started a new region.

You have to load up the city, go into the landscaping tab and click on the red fusebox symbol to delete a city without deleting the region part.
