Using Sim City Delux with Cheat engine?
Alright, so I've been using a bit of a cheat money in order to accomplish things quicker since Im not going to run games on my laptop for post-graduate/work reasons.

I've used cheat engine in the past and got it to work. However I seem to be having more of an issue with it considering I purchased the deluxe edition through steam and cheat engine wont recognize it.

Anyone willing to help?

You don't need to use Cheat Engine to "cheat" generating funds for this game.

All you need is this fantastic mod here:

Just download it into your plugins folder, run the game and activate it in your "Ordinances" panel and what's more you can disable it any time you want so it won't constantly spam Simoleons causing the game to kick you out as Mayor when you exceed a certain Billion amount.

why did you need cheat engine? search on "money park", "money tree" etc on popular modding site generate bunch of those.

Money tree/park lots easily make you go over the Simoleon limit which can cause you to be ejected from your Mayoral duties :P

The "Cousin Vinnie" ordinance mod is by far better because you can turn it off once you have enough simoleons to cover your expenses.

welll thats why i used the 25.000/month one, not the stupid 1.000.000/month. Even 100.000 are "too large" for my taste.

The "Cousin Vinnie" Ordinance mod is still better because you can turn it off once you've gotten enough cash as you'd need.
