4G Patch Not Installing
I have NetworkAddonMod_Setup_Version48 installed in my plugin folder. When I run the 4gb_patch.exe as administrator, it pulls up a window to select a file (not a folder) and when I run the NetworkAddonMod_Setup_Version48.bat file, it says 4gb_patch.exe was not found in this folder

It's a little confusing, but when you run the 4gb patch executable, the file you want to patch is the Simcity 4 executable in your game install directory, not the batch script.

Sorry, I'm Confused. I'm not exactly sure what's supposed to happen.
When I run NetworkAddonMod_Setup_Version48 as admin, it opens a folder window for me to select a file. If I select NetworkAddonMod_Setup_Version48 (Executable Jar File (.jar) ... it creates the file NetworkAddonMod_Setup_Version48.jar.Backup and when I open the game, nothing happens so I don't think the patch worked but I'm not sure if I installing it correctly or not.

The 4GB patch is for the game executable, not the NAM installer.

Let's start from scratch. Do you have a recent version of Java installed? If not, run the OpenJDKxxxx installer included in the NAM download first.

Next, run NetworkAddonMod_Setup_Version48.bat. This will automatically apply the 4GB patch to your game executable. You will see a small window telling you whether it is complete. You can verify by going into the game install directory and verifying it updated Simcity4.exe and made a backup. This script should also start the NAM installer, but it doesn't seem to be working for me, so now run the NetworkAddonMod_Setup_Version48.jar file to actually install the content to use in game.

OMG, it worked, thank you so much. None of the videos I watched or instructions I read said any of that.
