How do you make a new region with just a grayscale image?

Im trying to play this region: http://community.simtropolis.com/files/file/5043-dalles-i-or/ but the only thing you get when you download it is a grayscale image. Upon reading some articles, I tried using an app called SC4Mapper, and when I tried exporting the grayscale image, a bmp image and a SC4M file appeared (I exprted them to a new folder in the regions section).What do I need to do with these files????

You managed to find a Region Map but not how to install it. Lazy bum... go back to Simtropolis and look it up there :P

lol that was rude Cahos, i am also trying to find a way to download and get this setup as well. But Simtropolis isnt friendly to use, since the search engine is shot to hell. No download section, etc.

You might try the SC4Devotion.com site. And what you appear to want there is the NHP version of SC4Terraformer by Wouanagaine, and even those running Windows 10 will probably also need to see documentation to obtain the MSCVP71.DLL file, before the program will actually work for you.

As I understand it, the SC4Terraformer has now been placed in (included as part of) one of the NHP dependancy files.

I never really get this, the question is fairly reasonable. You know what's really stupid, wasting your own time with such a non-answer!

Firstly, the STEX is the single largest download "section" or exchange for SC4, so um, not sure of the problem there?

Yes, the search function, due to years of site upgrades is total crap (I say that as a staff member). But there isn't a simple fix to that, however a couple pieces of advise, because if you really love SC4, Steam is not the best place to be.

- Use Google, it will usually find what you are looking for.
- Open a thread or post in an existing one on ST, someone will quickly come to your aid.

Likewise, SC4D (sc4devotion.com), is another great fan site. Steam's forums is just not where the SC4 community spends a lot of time.
