Game keeps minimizing

Maybe this has to do with Windows 11 but seeing as I installed Windows 11 months ago and played Sim City 4 a few days ago, that's not the case.

I run the game and it instantly minimizes and then when I try to open it from the taskbar it will run for half a second and then minimize it again. I tried setting the Affinity to CPU 0 and reinstalling the game, but nothing has worked yet.

You could try forcing the game to run in windowed mode. Just right-click on the game in your library, click "Properties", and in the window that shows up, there's a box you can type in that says "Launch Options". In that box, type "-w" (without the quotes).

That's all I can think of. I doubt it will do anything but it's worth a try.
