Need help with SC4DatPacker error - MSVCP71.dll

I've been trying to apply the I-HT Bug-Fix for hours upon hours now. I followed this tutorial below and made it up to the "Run SC4 DAT Packer" step. It says that the program can't start because MSVCP71.dll is missing. I looked at the DAT Packer readme, downloaded the three necessary dll's, and still keep getting the same error. I even put them in the DAT Packer folder like someone else suggested on here. I don't know what more I can do, but this is driving me absolutely mad :'(

If you are not placing these dll files with Microsoft Windows official DLLs, then you need to make sure that they are in the SAME folder as the executable (.exe | .com) file that requires them; in this case where-ever the "Run SC4 DAT Packer" executable is located.

And if it is complaining about the "MSVCP71.dll" then double check that "MSVCP71.dll" is one of the files you downloaded! Seem to remember that the SC4Terraformer also requires specific Dynamic Link Library files; if you find multiple download links, check date-time stamps and sizes of downloaded files to see if you might have different versions?

As always, make sure that said DLL files aren't zipped or otherwise still compressed for transmission purposes; and check malware protection logs to see if you are being 'protected' from these DLLs.

1. You need install all 2003 - 2020 vcredist 64 / 86 bit and download those from Microsoft .
2. Direct X 9 / 10/ 11 / 12 , download it from Microsoft and install.
3. Microsoft. Net frameworks download it from Microsoft and install . Enjoy ;)
