Report a translation problem
When EA insisted at the last minute to add support for the Sims (My Sim), a new zoom level was added. But, zoom 6 simply takes the zoom 5 textures and upscales them (x2). This is why they look bad.
This is just as terrible as it always was and has nothing to do with your hardware. Although, using forced Anti-Aliasing, if your GPU is up to it, may actually help a little.
One of the odd side effects of implementing z6 this way, is that it allows modders to make HD textures/renders. Meaning we can produce models that have twice the texture size of a normal one. But since you can only have one texture for both z5/6 display, the drawback is that z5 texture is now downscaled.

The building here is HD and as you can see is nice and crisp. But the cars and some other props which aren't remain pixelated.
I guess we have to live with it
