Trouble installing Network Addon Mod 36

Hi, I'm having trouble installing the latest Network Addon Mod v.36. I'm on Windows 10 and have SC4 Deluxe installed through Steam. I had the previous version installed but uninstalled both it and SC4 recently for some reason then regretted it haha! I've now reinstalled SC4 and am trying to install NAM but hitting trouble!

Every time I try to install, it skips through every element of the install, and tells me "The controller compiler failed to build a network compiler...". It leaves my Documents>Sim City 4 folder full of a load of empty folders for each element with no files inside any of them (e.g. Documents>Sim City 4>Plugins>Netowork Addon Mod>Additional Bridges>Avenue Bridges exists but the folder is empty). In the game, all of the maps are just blank plain tiles and none of the NAM mods are showing.

Well the problem with the controller compiler is simply because you don't have Java installed on your machine. Java is needed to make a custom compiler, but if the installer can't make one, it will use a default pre-built alternative instead. Long and short, this isn't your problem.

If the installer is creating all the directories but not installing files, I'd look at either your Windows security/account settings or and Antivirus/AntiMalware software. More than likely something is preventing the installer from adding the files. So ensure you're using an Admin account when installing NAM. Whitelist the installer for your Security Software or disable it temporarily during installation, if doing this I'd disconnect from the internet during this time.
