Both videos of HL2 RTX, the one from forever ago and then one released recently, both say it's early in development. The Steam page by default says "soon" when it should be "TBD". This isn't coming out for a few years at the least.

In some places in the US technically it's already 16th. The anniversary would be of course a perfect day, but there's already a lot of stuff to read and watch (Valve uploaded a bunch of vids to their YT channel).
If it's going to come out this year I'll be happy.
