RX 9070 XT
The game gets stuck at the loading assets screen and has to be forced closed via task manager.
I bet there would be huge uproar by Nvidia fanboys if there was a game that was exclusively worked on AMD cards.
If what you say was true then they should have put a big disclaimer on their store page that states that it's for Nvidia RTX only. And also why not also put in a gpu check at the start which blocks the game from starting.
The fact is that all the other RTX remix games work just fine on AMD and Intel cards so why should HL2RTX be any different?
Since there is a problem with the latest patch, AMD and Intel owners have the right to post about the issue so that the devs are made aware of it. They can then make a statement like your BS post if it actually is an Nvidia exclusive game.
Most of your problems are about AMD hardware and software support so you really need to ask them. Even Nvidia owners have a minimum driver support version. You need Intel and AMD to get you drivers because it isn't what the modders do. This wouldn't even have DLSS if it weren't effectively free thanks to RTX Remix. The modders will certainly be able to fix some things but a lot of it is reliant on RTX Remix doing it's job. Until the final release I'd expect varying levels of this working. Maybe it won't work at all, maybe it'll be impossible to crash. Going to be step by step.
If it just so happens to also work on AMD then consider yourself lucky. If it doesn't work on AMD or did work in the past and doesn't work now then tough cookies: That's how the cookie crumbles.
Lol, nowhere does it say Nvidia only or that AMD/Intel cards cannot play the game. Just because it's made using RTX Remix does not make it proprietary.
