wont display on obs

I am trying to record with OBS but the game window does not pop up when I select it on game capture or window capture. I dont know what to do. Help!

What I did is create a window capture, then doubled clicked on it and under the setting "capture method" I changed from "Automatic" to "Windows 10 (1903 and up)" and it showed up in OBS

thanks this helped i also had to change the game settings from fullscreen to window

it didnt work so i just used display capture and it worked

I hope that game capture is gonna be implemented sooner or later. Game capture is superior. It improves performance and reduces input lag compared to Display Capture. Not a huge difference but still a difference.
