It’s the same nonsense that accompanied Portal RTX as well.
So many PC gamers use controllers now and HL2 features native controller support and 4K upscaling. How can these devs pour so much love and attention into 4K assets and high end card performance and then fail to provide the fundamental basic necessities of play?🙄
For PS3? With the dragons?
right click on half life 2 rtx , go to properties , gamepad , set steam input to forced off
launch big picture mode, launch half life 2 rtx from there.
this works for portal rtx for me as well
Perfect, this sorted it for me, thank you.
Weirdly, the first time I started the game the controller worked out of the box. I wasn't in Big Picture Mode and I didn't change any settings. I was surprised and impressed. But the next time I started the game the controller wouldn't work whatever I did.
No idea why, but at least it's working now.
