Sale is over. Now they are selling it for 25€/30$. Outrageous!
I think Steam should remove this game from Store or at least warn potential buyers with massive warning sign: BUY ON YOUR OWN RESPONSABILITY!

Use fix mod.

Yeah I installed th DPfix095 and now the game works perfectly. No stutter, black bars or anything. Sweet.

It took around 40 minutes to make this pos work, I tried all the solutions that I found and still nothing, tried to manually install everything from redist folder and nothing, so I ended up downloading missing ddl files separately from some fishy website. Now game works, it crashes when I try to use durante's fix though. Thank god I didnt buy it for the full price

To be fair.. "buyer beware" is SUPPOSED to be common sense in -anything- someone does shopping wise.

I learned this when i baught a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game by the name of "I Am Not Alone" (not to be confused with Ubi-Soft's game of similar title) for $40. An unoptimized, glitchy game with a final boss that takes, literally, over an hour to beat...and god help you if you so much as die during that battle.

But..yeah...i dont think Valve/Steam needs to remind people of the friggin obvious life lesson of "think before you buy, dumbass".
MrMuse Oct 27, 2014 @ 2:50pm
Never mind about think before you buy, how about "playtest before you release lazy fktard devs"? I've seen Early Access junk that works better 'out-of-the-box'. And, quite frankly, I'm tired of the whole 'we can patch it AFTER we grab the cash' ideology.

As for thinking before you buy..I'm fairly sure that most people who bought this THOUGHT they were buying something that would actually work properly.

If you buy a new car and it breaks down within the first hour you don't get told "ahhh well..you should have thought about it more first" or "don't worry we might fix it for you one day"- so why should it be acceptable practice for pc software? Your post is ludicrous Chaz.

I also think it's time Valve actually hired competent QA staff and took some responsibility for the huge ammount of defective software it offers up for sale via Steam. True, some generic "caveat emptor" comment is not the answer. The answer is to make sure something works before you SELL it.

Let's face it, this game is just a classic example of an extremely lazy port that there has been no effort to put right. That doesn't mean we should just accept it.

This game runs perfect on my old laptop (maybe 2-3 years old) with ati card. I don't think the port is that bad. Actually i've never had any problem.

Buyer Beware? That's a whole lot of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Early Access? Sure, that's buyer beware. Not this. This shouldn't be a buyer's beware.

Not only is the controller support terrible, but I get Microsoft Visual C++ errors as well. To think they jack the price back up to $25 after the sale. The audio, graphics, textures, voice acting are all terrible. Just the opening scene is cringe worthy. This is NOT worth $25. Hell, it isn't even worth $2.

I've yet to come across an early access game that was as broken as this game is.

1.4 hrs on record

I admit this game have been badly ported. However, you can find fix like DPfix for resolution and some and texture patch. I regret nothing , this game experience is really awesome it's something like i never saw.

KEV1N You mean i'll have problems later?

Yeah, the game is not very pretty. But i haven't experience any crashes or frame rate issues. Runs fine and controller works too.

I posted this in another thread but for me the game crashes whenever I hit the start button to go into the pause menu. This is after the PhysX reinstall (otherwise wouldn't start) and with the latest DPFix.

In the same folder where you go to reinstall PhysX, run the Microsoft visual thing and you should be able to play it for awhile.

Lemme see if I can get this straight here: You're complaining that after a product gets discounted/put on sale, the price goes back to where it was prior to the discount/sale? Am I getting this right?
