FPS drop?
Been playing in and out for some overall hours (the exact time is on my profile) and when I picked the game this week, there was a slight and odd FPS drop. I'm not using DPFix or anything else. When I started playing I already had enhancements made through CCC and just now I started having this issue. Tried using CleanMem (used it before for Dragon Age: Inquisition and it worked), but to no avail. Anyone knows how I can fix this?

Update: Thx DudeSauce for the help! Running DXSETUP (inside the redist folder of the game) worked :happymeat:

I'd like to know as well. I've tried with the fixes and without, I get frame rate drops that don't recover until I restart the game. Then the same thing happens all over again.

First thing I would do is revert ccc back to default.

Oh right. I didn't think that was the problem cos I've been playing with it that way, on and off and just now this started happening. Gonna try that, thx!

AHEM I downloaded a torrent to test it in case you missed that part. After copying the files into the Steam folder and buying the game then installing it, Steam made an update for the missing/outdated files, which should have putted "DXSETUP" there. Not my fault if Steam doesn't have a demo for this and other games, hun.

I would uninstall it,delete the folder for it in the steam folder and redownload it from steam.

Oh well, if that's the only way :sarah6: Here's hoping that'll work. I'll get to it after I'm done downloading DX:HR, thx!

OK, wow! idk where my head was! I was looking for the DXSETUP on the root folder of the game instead of the redist folder :sarah2: My bad! Running that setup worked, thx DudeSauce!

The "fix" is very simple.. Just reboot your pc and your framerates should be magically fixed. Same thing with the crashes.. If you suddenly start experiencing crashes then reboot will usually fix it temporarily. When I played this game on the pc I made sure that windows was freshly restarted before playing.
