So...Is this game good?
I've been hearing great things about it but I don't know if I should add it to my wishlist or just watch videos about it or stuff like that. It seems interesting but I don't really know if when I can get it, it would be worth it.

It's a good game but I wouldn't recommend picking it up if its the only game you'll be able to afford for awhile. For me it's a play once and probably never play again. If you've watched a playthrough or know a lot of the plot lines than you've basically played the game. So if you are interested in playing this at some point I'd recommend wish listing it and avoid content about it until you are in a position to afford it and other games (It really is a game you should go into blind).

I just finished the game. Took 2.8 hrs without rushing though I don't have all the achievements but looking at guides I don't think I want to bother replaying for them. To sum up the game play it's very linear, you the player make no choices and you're just there for the ride. It's a good experience but has little to no replay value.

It's a great story, very light on gameplay around 2 to 3 hours with virtually no replay value unless you want to re experience the game with new knowledge. The game has a very unique art style and despite the way th story is told the main story beats make sense instead of just being weird and vague for the sake of it.

Before picking up this game, I recommend checking out "How Fish Is Made". It's a free game by the same developers. Similar mouthfeel/theme to Mouthwashing :lunar2019piginablanket:

Money isn't an issue for me. So I just bought it and gave it a go and loved it. Game of the year for me, but I'm not someone who needs action or shooting for a game to be enjoyable.

Another game this kind of reminds me of is the What Remains of Edith Finch.

It's hard to speak of or sell this game without simultaneously ruining it... similar to how a movie can be ruined by the trailer showing too much of the plot.

I would suppose it's more for an older audience than a young audience though. If you can't relate to any of the themes, it'd probably just be a boring walking simulator with a stupid story. Life, over time, often traumatises you, and this game probably stands a higher chance of resonating with someone who's experienced the various things that happen throughout the game. Why the people make certain choices, being able to feel the pain on display, etc.

FYI, with the debug console (there's even an achievement for opening it and another one that requires using cheats) so you dont even need to replay the entire game for 100%, you can just skip to the things you missed

It's a 2 hour linear walking simulator with some psicologic horror
there's no replay value other than "knowing whats going on" from the beginnning or getting 100% achievements
its ok, but imo it would be better with less "weird infinite corridors" and more actual "gameplay" (even a few puzzles would be ok)

Never played a horror game before? Most of them are only 2-3 hours at most. Its also cheap and a work of art
