I'm having the same issue. 5M0k1N's response fixed my game looking a little stretched but all the text and HUD are still super tiny. Did you ever find a fix?

I don't think there is a fix for this. This requires an in-game coding modification. Idk which genius though keeping such tiny writing was the way to go 🤦‍♂️ Usually by the third game, developers learn their lessons properly. Moreover, the contrast of the messages are shi!. Grey background and the writing on top of that is greyish-white.🤦‍♂️

P.S. Widescreen fix does not fix this. OP is talking about a different problem.
