Part 1 ADDING PEOPLE TO YOUR INGAME FRIEND'S LIST
Step 1) to get onto the servers you have to play through Origin. The game will not play online with steam anymore
Step 2)Open the main menu (start or escape)
Step 3)Go to "Paradise Online" submenu
Step 4)At the bottom of this menu is the option to add a friend. Open this
Step 5) Add your friend's EA account name (their steam user name and their e-mail will not work) if they accept you can invite them directly from here.
Step 6) close the start menu
-note- even if you are friends on steam, and friends on origin, burnout paradise will not show them as online until you've added them in game.
PART 2 INVITING PEOPLE TO FREEBURN
step 1) Open the drive menu with dpad -> (right) or numpad 6.
step 2) scroll with the dpad (or numpad 2) to "friends" and open that menu.
step 3) select your friend from the list and and invite them
-note- if you stop moving to the point your car turns off, the invite expires.
alternatively, you can invite them via the start menu in the same submenu where you added them. (follow part 1 if you forget)
PART 3 SETTING UP MATCHES
part 1) open the drive menu
part 2) select "create a race"
part 3) you can edit route or select an existing route.
part 4)select done
part 5) start the even in the drive menu.
