Yea lol I just finished installing and just wanted to see how it looked and played real quick, but I couldn't find options to change the awful controls. Annoyed I said whatever I will just quit for now and mess with it later, couldn't even find a way to quit. I saw the F1 & F2 but had no idea you can press them more than once to get more options (I did it on accident). It really is a horrible interface. :spazterror:

Awful controls? Feels great with a PS3 or 360 controller. Who the hell plays a racing game on a keyboard anyways?

Gamepad ftw - go into the controller settings to manually change buttons, once you get through the pain of the GUI and actually get into the game itself - it's a lot of fun and worth the little bit of annoyances.

First thing I did was change the driving controls. WASD for the steering, Shift for handbrake and Ctrl for No2! So far, I've not faced anything I couldn't do without a controller, so I'm happy.

I can't even GET the flamin' thing to RECOGNISE my gamepad. Dunno why, Cave Story and STeEm are just fine with it (as Windows picks it up as a standard 4-axis + 12 button + hat joystick).
So, still having to deal with keyboard for now.

Don't you love an console interface on PC?
EA do, because it will take them even less time to optimise it for the pc!

Really if you want to play a race game, do not play on a keyboard XD

YOU have the terribad controls. Why would you try to drive a car with a keyboard? Look at it, does it look even remotely appropriate? No. Sort out your hardware.

It has terribad UI because standard for pc is keyboard and mouse not gamepad and because PC gamer should be normal customer not a second hand peasant.

Besides I've played many racing games(best experience is of course with driving wheel not a gamepad), but every single had proper keyboard controls.
