- A lot of the mods are out-of-date.
- Big Surf Island has not been completely modded and the Vanity Pack is incredibly out-of-date.
- No online cops and robbers.
Remaster:
- Big Surf Island.
- Online Cops and Robbers.
- Up-to-date.
- Will likely get its own mods.
Don't be ignorant and give people only half the picture. Make your own purchasing decisions, people.
Plus, they is nothing wrong with Origin. Its just another platform to play games from.
it uses ea servers for online play, yes. but you don't need to install origin.
How can they be out-of-date when most of them were created long after the game became abandonware? You're not making sense.
No it doesn't, get your facts straight.
A considerably worse platform, but yeah.
No you can't.
No Buy for me.
No you didn't. The remaster isn't even out yet, cut the crap.
You are aware that promotional screenshots are often edited, right? I understand you're slow but surely you can't be this gullible as to judge a game by a pre-release screenshot.
Even if they weren't, the game isn't out yet. A million things can happen between now and the release date.
TL:DR until the game is out, you're talking out of your *ss.
Until the game is out you have no room to talk, unless you have a direct line to Criterion (don't even try it). Downgrading graphics at the last moment isn't unheard of, in fact it's common practice. The only recent EA title that haven't been subject to this is Battlefield 1. Other titles like Mass Effect Andromeda, Need For Speed Payback, even freaking The Sims 4 have all been downgraded, some quite severely.
I most likely won't. I don't know anything for sure either, but EA has created a pattern that can't be ignored. Denuvo, downgraded graphics and poor optimization aren't certain, but they are highly probable.
