Stuck on the loading screen...(FIXED)

I load up the game and I see the logo + loading screen...it just keeps loading forever. No login screen or anything. Anyway to get past this?

Try reinstalling the game and possibly install Origin.

You need to go into settings, change resolution to 600x900, turn v sync off and restart your game, works every time

I'm bumping this because I was going to post this and realized I already did 3 years ago. God...

Yeah I still have the same issue. Also I don't have Origin..or use Nvidia (I saw some people elsewhere mention Nvidia fixes)

So uhm. Anyone else ever get this?

EDIT : Heh, I verified my files and it works. What the hell? I swear I did that years ago. Oh well. I am sad that my save data seems to be gone though. RIP

How do you verify your files? I'm basically ready to give up on the game at this point, but the nostalgia factor is too strong for me to completely abandon it just yet.

Local Files
Verify

I ran the configuration before the game and set the graphics to my monitor (1920x1080), maxed out antialiasing etc and then ran the game. Works perfectly.
