Burnout 3 vs. Burnout Paradise

I have fond memories of playing Burnout 3 on my Xbox, crashing myself into stuff for signature takedowns. I would buy 3 if I could, but this is the only game I could find. Is Paradise worth the buy, or am I better off ordering a copy of 3 on Amazon?

One of the best racing games I own. So if you want for racing it is worth it. You can wreck cars during racing, etc. just like Burnout 3. BUT if you want it for "crash mode" then you will be disappointed. This games crash mode consists of bouncing down a highway trying to hit as many cars as possible (aka boring).

When game first came out I didn't like it because of the lack of crash mode, which is what I was looking forward to in the game. But years later when I came back to it I realized it was one of the best racing games I ever played. Best music in any game I have ever played also.

Also Burnout Revenge for the Xbox 360 was an HD version with vast improvements over Burnout 3 put out for Xbox 360. So you might want to check it out if you have a compatible console (360 or One).

Thank you so much! I remember enjoying 3's crash mode, but my favorite part was probably the races, fighting my way to first by crashing other cars. Thank you again for the advice, it's really helped!

lol Burnout 3 of course.I like Burnout Paradise but for me the game is like you played for 30mins and then you get bored playing this game.In Burnout 3 i have an unlimited fun.Ahh if there was an multiplayer

The only thing I don't like about Revenge is how the only in a literal sense for single player mode is career, yet in modes like split screen or party you can play custom modes and select your own options from there, along with the map you want to race on.

It's ok, but lacks the inensity of previous Burnout games like Takedown.

Burnout Revenge was the best ever , I remember playing it day and night with my brother on the split screen on a PS 2 , those days this was our most played games , it was never a technical racing game but simply a fast car action game that was sooo fun !!!!!

Small touch that Burnout Revenge, and burnouts before it, had was how it showed a preview of your race after you finished the race. Miss that when I'm playing almost any other racing game out today. That feature is missing in Burnout Paradise also, but few probably miss it as much as I do.

Burnout 3 : Takedown and Burnout Revenge are much better than Paradise. Burnout Legends was Burnout 3 for PSP with a little new content but missing car and track variety. Dominator had some different content while missing from older games such as crash mode. It see it as a step to Burnout Paradise, the most unique one (except ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Burnout Crash) Anyway Paradise is still a great game and worth buying...

Test the new game Burnout Paradise Remastered its really fun. And if you promote it EA maybe makes a new burnout game :)
