Permanent Speed-Up/Slow-Down Modes
Very much like the tempo up/down traps but permanently applied at the start of a level, for every level and boss in the run. There's plenty of empty spaces in the game modes part of the lobby anyway, so why not? Really gets the blood pumping and tests one's skills when you do a whole run like that. Probably really simple to implement too.

And the slow-down one could make for a great combination with Dancepad Mode or with tough characters. Or just for those who need just a little more thinking time while bard-mode is otherwise too easy (or boring) for them.

Being able to apply specific game modes to custom editor-made levels would be interesting too. Or being able to mix and match game modes together, too, if they don't clash.

I'm guessing you used the trick where the tempo up/down traps last forever if destroyed? Fun stuff indeed, but rather limiting if you can only play one dungeon with it (and probably can't be done in boss floors).

But it's pretty much the effect i'd like to see as a simple game mode option, yeah. Should make runs more interesting, while still not quite at the level of insanity Bolt is at, i believe.
Hope they give it a try, should be as simple as waiting for the first move in a newly-loaded level and triggering the tempo-up effect, and potentially removing all tempo traps if they interfere.
