Dance Pad on Switch?

I have a D-Force pad (the one recommended on CotND's website). Will this work for the switch? I already have the game on steam, but would buy it for switch too if it works.

Looks like that's strictly a PC peripheral, Switch won't recognize anything that's not specifically compatible. There are various third-party adapters that'll let you use other controllers on Switch, or it may be possible to use a Gamecube dance mat along with the official GC adapter.

I was suggested to try the Wii Dance Pad, but I don't already own one, and it's a lot of money for something that's likely to not work.

As soon as it is available again (of course, it has supply problems), I am getting a gamecube controller adapter (to use GC controllers with an obscure little fighting game that's coming out soon). I'll see if I can grab a second hand dance pad (with GC connector) cheaply to test the theory of controlling necrodancer this way.

Dance Mat from wii (it using GC controller port) works fine with SSB GC adapter on Switch.

Got a nintendo64 dance mat connected with a may flash adapter (nintendo one is still missing in action). After a quick test, it seems to be working fine, though I still need to properly test combos...

Cant get this to work with Smash Bro GC adaptor. Perhaps it works with may flash adapter, thats the one I saw a guy using on youtube.
