Crypt of the NecroDancer

Crypt of the NecroDancer

Any mod for comfortable playing (with no need to be hardcore fanatic) now?
With new year 2025 checking of my library I noticed i still have this cute but unplayable game in my library.

I would like to play this one day. Is finaly any saving between levels and or control customizing mod around or at least mod adding some regular tutorial?
The reasons why i instantly left the game years ago. I just dislike combination of explain nothing, no time to understand anything ingame

Beatless, immortality or Bard mode is not what im looking for, not a solution.

It's been a long time since I played it, but I'm pretty sure there is a proper tutorial, and then there is practice for monsters (I think once you've fought them).

Honestly I’m a new player and I think the game has been absolutely amazing the last few days. The QOLF features are far better than whatever it could have been in the past. There is tutorials like practicing against specific enemies from floors 1-5, mini-bosses & bosses with the option to switch weapons in the lobby from an unlockable NPC. To add icing to the cake there is advanced tutorials for dragons, traps, “how go get away with murder (killing the merchant) & I honest to god forgot the other one but they call it advanced lore or something.

Now mind you some of this content I own might be apart of the AMPLIFIED DLC, speaking of which both that and synchrony add so much more especially being on sale currently it’s worth the extra 6$ for all the content. Also would like to mention we have a good selection of mods to add content into the game as well if not customize your own soundtrack for your own personalized experience. Tons of characters to change things up and make progression with as well but overall I’d say it’s 100% playable in its current state.
I believe they added the ability to save during a run in the last few years. The controls are also fully customizable.
