Custom skins
I'm wondering how I can use custom skins. Can anyone let me know? I'm sure you have to use some sort of file, so I'm on a Windows 7 laptop, if that helps with anything. Thanks! :D

in the files of the game, you can find the sprite of all the characters, there you can edit on any simple image editor, I think, don't quote me on that.

I've checked around, I can't find the files though. :/
Are you trying to make one or are you trying to install one?

Well idk how to change it in the first place. :/

Steam\steamapps\common\Crypt of the NecroDancer\data\entities
or
go in your library, right click on the game, proprieties, local files tab,
browse local files after that, data\entities.

"What I am suppose to edit?"
Each character is two files. The head (charx_heads.png)
and the body (char1_armor_body.png)
Just edit it with any editor you want... (photoshop, paint...) but
don't forget to stay with the same name (and extension) and I recommend
you to do a backup of it too.

Some characters are still not done, that's why there is multiple
character that look like Cadence (editing them is useless)

Thanks dude. I'll look into it right away. :D

I am not sure which number is which character so test them.
(some are for the character which is not done...)

Does this also mean that I can change enemies if I wanted to, too?

I never had try to edit them but they are there so yes,
you can. That would be great to change the minotaur into some pedobear XD

Edit: yes, it work. You can edit what you want.

Wait a second.... This means that you can change the shadow form of everything and be a little cheater. xD

You can even change the way items look, the slash effects of the weapons, and even the beating heart.

Happy customizing.
