Heart Transplant?

I saw this in the update notes and went and bought it from Hephaestus, I haven't been able to find it in any chests, in a series of runs that clear the entirety of each floor in each set of three floors. What's going on with this thing? Is it supposed to show up in chests? What does it do once you have it?

I haven't tried to look for it in hardcore mode yet, maybe it appears there. That's the next thing on the list.

I found it in hardcore mode. It deactivates the rhythm for a few seconds, so you can move freely.

For a few seconds? Is it a usable item or spell or something? I can't seem to find one no matter how many times I try. I don't imagine that it would be all that useful or interesting if all that happened was picking it up and temporarily being able to ignore the rhythm.

When I found it, in a hardcore run it was in the secret shop. You know the one you gotta bomb into, which is a pretty rare find as it is. It is not actually a spell and will go on the side with the food. When I used it, it gave me 10 seconds of free roaming off the beat. So you use it once and it's gone, I also think it was something like 70ish coins. Right now I don't see much of a use for it, but given the right situation it might be pretty handy. I know it's probably something I will pass up until I figure out the right situation.

Okay, thanks. Yeah, doesn't sound game changing, but I can think of ways that it could be useful. If I ever find it.

It's amazing for two situations: Speedrunning (you can kill King Conga super fast with it, for example) and if you're about to die.

If you're about to die (getting swarmed in zone 3, for example) it'll let you take your time and plan out each move. Well, for the next 10 seconds at least.

From what I've experienced so far, you can find it every time you destroy the Shrine of Rythm.

your example of getting swarmed in zone 3 is perfect! the stat for that zone is to have as little enemies as possible especially when you fight the miniboss of each stage. it is very useful for that zone
