And if you can't understand what the rhythm aspects add to the game, then this game is obviously not for you anyway.
When I feel like playing the actual game I'll go (put Bolt on) and fail at hardcore like everyone else. Bard is an extremely insightful mode to have for all sorts of reasons. Hey, if you like the game as turn based more, then more power to you. The rhythm thing's not gonna be for everyone. Stone Soup was my first roguelike love, and that one was turn based too.
