Controls - Item Usage and what not
Hello,
First i wanna say there seems to be alot of trolls about this forum complaining about not buying EA and indie games holding bakc industry.
All i can say is this game is GREAT so far :).
Anyway, i'm using a controller and i just found a bomb, i have no idea how to use it and i cant seem to find any "use item" input either.
Also, what do these "combo"s do ? Like: Combo Right+left?
Thankful for any response,
Thank you.

Every Item is used via a key combination. Bombs for example are done by pressing both Down and Left at the same time. You can check which combo is which by checking the portrait that holds the item.

The key combinations in the menu besicaly bind these combinations into the one button.

so is it not worth it to use a controller because i really want to but how would left and right at the same time work on a controller?

I think you actually bind them to the face buttons in their appropriate direction.

so you can use like say on xbox controller x and b instead of left and right? how does that work because that sounds good

Map X to left, Y to Up, B to right and A to down.

I'm not using a controller but if I did, it would be something like that, it would still feel weird to do left+right or up+down, but it being on the face buttons is alot more better than attempting that on the d-pad.

On both keyboard and controller you can map the combinations for item usage to seperate keys so you dont have to focus on pressing two buttons at once if you dont want. (such as Up+Right for spells, you can instead set it to E if you want)

I think the game should display the key bound to the action next to the item icon, instead of the default.
