There are some DLCs! He asked what we need to play multiplayer... . A yes is a poorly answer :(
Edited:
Rude ppl... .
For normal and polite ppl:
It is needed this DLC to play multiplayer online coop:
synchrony
"- 1+1?
- Yes."
Or do all participants have to own it as well?
Your main question is "DLC is needed to play multiplayer?" which you got your answer for:
Reading comprehension.
If you are going to be short, you need to be correct with what you are talking about. Reading just the title is not reading comprehension.
But to OP's query: For MP you need the "synchrony" DLC.
Though to be honest, if you like the game you'd be doing yourself a disservice to not get the "amplified" DLC as well - assuming you don't already have it. It adds in a bunch of new content (new areas, characters, etc.).
The other DLCs are all just OST packs as far as I can tell (as well as extras which is a little bit of fan stuff - a dev cut, some promo art, etc).
